As part of an expansion project in 2016, its two STS cranes are among the largest in Brazil with a capacity of 22 containers and were part of the $ 25 million in infrastructure improvement investments made by APM Terminals, which also included reach stackers and tractor terminals. APM terminals Pecém offers one of the highest operational performance indexes on the market, with 70 consistent and reliable BMPH (cradle throughput per hour) and over 34 movements per hour per crane. The company continues to invest in end-user services, employee training, fleet modernization and state-of-the-art equipment and systems to ensure customer satisfaction. To ensure minimum downtime, the terminal operates with a team of over 30 professionals along with an in-house maintenance program, with a Reach Stacker workshop inside the terminal and an additional external workshop.
